Tattoos By Design

Tattoos By Design is a UK site that offers access to a tattoo design "library" for members and a language/font translation service.

The tattoo library is a collection of 2000 designs sectioned into 33 categories. Each category can be previewed. Non-members can see design examples in "the most viewed designs" and the "latest editions".

The translation service is charged as a one time fee. Names, words and phrases can be translated into 10 different languages such as Hebrew, Arabic, Sanskrit and Chinese. The website shows examples of each in the appropriate font.

Visitors can upload photos and add to a "Rate My Tattoo" gallery. The gallery is organized into categories and can be viewed by all. The website also contains tattoo articles, celebrity info and tattoo links.

Payment is monthly and there are no refunds on translations or tattoo library membership.

The website states it was created to offer a "complete tattoo resource for tattoo pictures, images, designs and translations". Advertising for non-tattoo related stuff will put some visitors off. Very little feedback left on the net by customers.

The preview option that lets you see the artwork before paying. The word and phrase translation service may be of interest to some.

Informative website with loads of info. Modest size collection compared to other sites but some good info. Monthly payment for membership makes this poor value.
